Thanksgiving

This was such a fun Thanksgiving. I don't know why it seemed like that because it is exactly the same as all the Thanksgivings before it. But it was. Last Thanksgiving was a really, really hard one because it was the first one without my mom. She was always such a fundamental part of this holiday and the part where she wasn't there was huge! This year, the gap was just as big and she was missed by us all just as much but with the passage of time, some of the hurt lessens. We had wonderful food--really, it was! Everyone brought something and all those somethings were delicious! The conversations were fun, the Rockband stars were amazing, the kids played together so well, and we did our calendars--a tradition that my mom started. All in all, a wonderful day. I am so thankful for my family and all those who were able to come to my house once again and celebrate this holiday with us. It is one of my greatest blessings. I am hoping that Susan posts some pictures since she was the only one with the presence of mind to record the day. Thanks Susan.
